OBLIQUE — Light, with presence. Sculptural lighting concept cover

The challenge

Give a sculptural lighting concept a distinct identity, then make that identity work across a complete website. The experience needed to communicate both the object and the atmosphere it creates.

OBLIQUE material and atmosphere moodboard

The central idea

A fold in metal. A shift in atmosphere. The same table lamp appears in the same setting from morning to evening. That change in light becomes the project’s visual signature and its central website interaction.

The design system

Satin aluminium, opal glass and an oxblood base establish the material direction. Warm bone, ink, sage and oxblood connect the imagery to the interface. Cormorant Garamond gives the headlines an expressive voice; Inter keeps product information and navigation clear.

The experience

A responsive website brings together four concept lights, individual product galleries, a day-to-evening lighting sequence, a saved selection and a downloadable project brief. Restrained transitions and scroll reveals support exploration. Motion can be paused, and reduced-motion preferences are respected.

My scope

Concept development, art direction, AI-assisted product imagery, copy, responsive web design, front-end implementation and portfolio motion design.

Project status

Independent portfolio concept. The lighting objects are visual studies, not manufactured products for sale. The brief builder is a browser-local demonstration; it does not send enquiries or process orders.

The live preview has ended. The permanent case and showcase video remain available.
